The Roughlock Falls Trail:
This easy
1-mile hike takes you to the Roughlock Falls, as listed above. It goes through forested areas, crossing bridges and creeks. It provides beautiful views along the way.
The 76 Trail:
This steep trail leads to a birds eye view of the canyon. Bring your hiking boots as you venture out on this moderately difficult hike.
Community Caves:
Only a third of a mile, the Community Caves leads to a wide cave with great views of the canyon. See these impressive rock formations during your visit to Spearfish.
Wildlife and Photography
If you are lucky, you can spot a variety of wildlife throughout your trek. Deer, bighorn sheep, wild turkeys, and numerous species of birds will flock throughout the dense forests. You could potentially see a mountain lion or black bear, though we strongly advise leaving them to their natural habitat.
